Site specific Art, Mono, Oslo

This project is a result of close collaboration between the artist and the management of the music club Mono. The basic aim was to make an artistic expression that matches and echoes monos musical profile and its customers, and which would suit the atmosphere of the beer garden. Reading Covers shows artist or bands that have had major impact through their music in time, attitude and music. Each covers have been interpreted individually and the original “picture” has undergone a degree of transformation, but still recognizable. The five panels are to be seen as a unity, but at the same time each expresses its own personal character and strength.

The use of ceramics is a fundamental element in the project – which presents “posters” that stand in an out door environment through all the seasons.
